What is Crumble?
Crumble concentrates are a potent and flavourful form of cannabis extract with a dry, honeycomb-like texture. Unlike shatter or wax, crumble easily breaks apart due to its specific extraction and purification process that removes most of the plant’s lipids and waxes. This results in a highly concentrated product, often containing 60% to 90% THC, offering a more intense and long-lasting high. Crumble also retains a significant amount of terpenes, the aromatic compounds responsible for cannabis strains’ unique flavours and aromas, providing a rich and aromatic experience for users.
How to consume Crumble
- Dab Rig:
- Start Small: Begin with a rice-grain-sized dab to avoid overwhelming effects.
- Heat Properly: Use a torch to heat the nail until it’s red-hot, then let it cool slightly before applying the crumble.
- Inhale Slowly: Apply the crumble to the nail and inhale the vapor through the rig.
Vaporizer:
- Select Compatible Device: Ensure your vaporizer is designed for concentrates.
- Set Temperature: Experiment with different temperature settings to find the sweet spot for flavour and potency.
- Load Carefully: Place a small amount of crumble into the vaporizer chamber and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Joint, Blunt, or Pipe:
- Mix with Flower: Sprinkle crumble into your ground cannabis flower for a potency boost.
- Even Distribution: Ensure the crumble is evenly distributed to avoid harsh or uneven burns.
- Smoke or Vape: Light your joint, blunt, or pipe as usual and enjoy.
E-Nail:
- Temperature Control: Use the e-nail’s precise temperature settings to optimize the experience.
- Load Sparingly: Start with a small amount and increase gradually as needed.
- Inhale Gently: Apply the crumble and inhale the vapor slowly.
Trainwreck was crossed with Afgooey to create this sativa-indica hybrid (the exact ratio of sativa to indica is unclear, but it’s probably indica-dominant). The bud is reddish brown, with green and a fuzzy layer of trichomes. Gooey Wreck has a citrus aroma and a sweet flavor. It’s definitely a rarity, probably found in few places except the West Coast. THC levels are unknown, though this isn’t known as the world’s most potent strain. CBD levels are likewise a mystery, but there’s little evidence that this is an appropriate strain for patients with seizure disorders or other conditions alleviated by CBD. The high from Gooey Wreck is relaxing, with a likely focus on body effects as opposed to cerebral effects. It’s apparently best used to treat physical symptoms, including inflammation, migraines, and chronic pain. Adverse effects may include dry eyes and dry mouth, though there are few reports on the subject. It may be possible to find this medical strain in some California dispensaries, but elsewhere it’s pretty rare. The Afghani and Haze genes in Gooey Wreck make it a pleasant choice for some patients, but not popular enough to be easy to find.
